COVID-19 Safety Measures

We know that the safety of your children and family is especially important to you, just as much as it is to us. So with that in mind and following the re-opening guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the New York City Department of Health (NYCDOH), we have made changes to the daily operation of our program to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, families and staff.

The following is a list of some of the changes that have been made:

  • Social distancing and face coverings, where necessary, will be mandatory.

  • Parents and visitors will have limited access to the inside of the building.

  • Students will be in groups of no more than 15 children per group/class.

  • Daily student and staff health screening, including no touch temperature checks.

  • Sanitizing of each room and supplies will be performed throughout the day using the Electrostatic disinfecting method.

  • Greater emphasis on student/staff hand washing and sterilization.

  • Student pick up and drop off will occur at the front door of the school and no longer in the classroom.

These are the measures that will be strongly enforced for the summer and for the regular school year, beginning in September. We are sure the actions we have taken will make for a safe environment.
