Assessment will also match our educational goals and practices.
Children will be assessed in all areas of development.
Assessment will be focused on observations of children engaged in practicing different types of skills in all subject areas.
Assessments will be collaborative and will include the active participation of children, parents and teachers.
Observations will be documented and used as a base for comparison in order to measure growth and to determine special needs. In other words a journal will be kept on each child as teacher observes child under different circumstances and at different times. These observations and documentation will also be used to plan I.E.Ps and for parent conferences.
